Responsible gambling
Gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. Over time the house always has the edge.
Stay in control
- Decide how much money and time you’ll spend before you start — and stick to it.
- Only play with money you can afford to lose. Never borrow to gamble.
- Don’t chase losses by betting more.
- Don’t play when you’re upset, stressed or have been drinking.
- Take breaks and balance gambling with other activities.
- Use the casino’s tools: deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion are usually in your account settings or available through support.
Warning signs
- You spend more money or time than you planned.
- You hide how much you gamble from others.
- You gamble to escape problems or feelings.
- You feel anxious or irritable when you’re not gambling.
- Gambling affects your work, studies, relationships or finances.
If any of these sound familiar, talk to someone. Asking for help is a strong move.
